Larisa Bowen-Dodoo is a growing leader with more than five years of experience in engineering research, youth engagement, entrepreneurial product development and project management. As an engineer by education, she actively advocates African Women in STEM. Larisa is currently a Projects Coordinator at the British Council in Ghana and a Global Shaper at the Accra Hub of the World Economic Forum – Global Shapers community where she leads the team as President to deliver bottom-up social change projects in Ghana.
She is the founder of Levers in Heels, a digital platform highlighting rising African women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). They do this by sharing their stories through meaningful dialogue, running discourse events on issues pertaining to African women in STEM, to influence solutions and policy development.
